Morley MacFarlane was born in Brandon, Manitoba on October 21, 1935. MacFarlane was an outstanding pitcher with the Brandon Cloverleafs. He played with the Brandon 7-Up of the City Police League in 1953, and then spent 1954-61 with the Cloverleafs. MacFarlane was 3-1 with Brandon in the Mandak league playoffs, and in his top season he had a 21-3 record. MacFarlane later signed with Detroit and played in the Georgia State League. He had a great fastball and drop.
