Our History

In 1996, Gladwyn Scott gathered together some prominent baseball people to discuss the possibility of establishing a Hall of Fame Museum.

As a result, a committee was formed and in 1997 the MBHOF was incorporated and received charitable status. The 1st banquet was held at the Brandon University on June 6, 1997.

The Museum, located at the Access Event Centre in Morden, MB was officially opened at the 3rd annual banquet, held on June 5, 1999.

This non-profit organization, which was initiated in January 1996, was incorporated and received charitable status in 1997. Our first induction ceremony was held at Brandon University June 6, 1997, with 20 individuals and one team recognized.
