Lynn Caldwell

Lynn Caldwell was born in Hamiota, Manitoba on February 13, 1942. He was an excellent player who was chosen as the Manitoba Senior Baseball League (MSBL) third baseman on the 40 year all-star team, was voted MSBL first all-star nine times, and second all-star three times. Caldwell’s batting average over his 13 seasons was .285 and he led the league in runners batted in (RBIs) for three consecutive years. With Hamiota, his team was majorly successful and won many MSBL pennants and multiple championships. Caldwell also played with the Oil Dome all-stars at Davenport, Iowa for the Pony Championships in 1957.
