Bruce Gullett

Bruce Gullett was born in Wawanesa, Manitoba on April 16, 1944. Gullet was a catcher for 12 years, during which he played in Manitoba with the Oakland Braves and Souris Cardinals. Gullett was also part of Team Canada at the World Championships in Nicaragua in 1972. He was a Manitoba Senior Baseball League (MSBL) first team all-star catcher seven times (1975, ’77, ’78, ’79, ’80, ’82, ’94) and second team all-star catcher five times (1976, ’91, ’92, ’93, ’95). He was also all-star catcher at three different Canadian Senior championships. After his playing days, Gullett managed the dominate Riverside Canucks of the MSBL for six years from 1990-95, around which time they won seven league championships, three provincial championships, and one western Canadian championship.
