Harvey Williamson was born in Belmont, Manitoba on February 25, 1921. Williamson played 25 years with the Belmont A’s as a right fielder and a terrific power hitter. He played 2-3 tournaments a week in North Dakota, southern Manitoba, and southeastern Saskatchewan. Williamson won July 1st tournaments in both Neepawa and Morden. He was part of the Belmont team that won the Central Manitoba Baseball Association Championships in 1952, and he played against touring teams, including the Muskogee Cardinals. Williamson loved baseball and roll-your-own cigarettes.
