Grant Everard was an excellent pitcher with Riverside. In 20 years in the MJBL Everard won 107, and lost 47. Everard was named to the first all star team 11 times, and the second team 6 times. Everard was MVP of the league in 1973 and 1981, top pitcher in league in 1981 and 1982, and playoff MVP in 1973. Grant was part of five teams that won a Manitoba title. Everard was also selected to the MSBL 40 year all time pitching staff. Grant was part of teams that won Canadian junior crown (1967), Canadian senior title (1972), and was on Team Canada at 1972 World Amateurs tournament in Cuba.
