Terry Hind

Terry Hind was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 23, 1920. Hind was a stellar pitcher in Winnipeg throughout the 1930s and ’40s. Following his playing days, Hind became an administrator. He was general manager of the Winnipeg Goldeyes for 11 years, and saw them take the league title three times, in 1957, ’59, and ’61. A member of the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame and also a member of the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame’s All Century team, Hind was one of the best baseball players Manitoba has produced.
