Stan McPhee was born in Dauphin, Manitoba on July 7, 1927. McPhee was a great player, pitcher, and power hitter during the 1940s, ’50s, and ’60s for the Redbirds. McPhee won league titles in the Northern League, the Manitoba-Saskatchewan League, and the Manitoba Senior Baseball League. He was a quiet and reliable pitcher, and a true sportsman.
