Ryan Boguski

Ryan Boguski was born in Dauphin, Manitoba on April 21, 1976. He was a good pitcher, batter, first baseman, and outfielder. Boguski played minor ball for Dauphin, and showed immense promise from an early age. He played for team Manitoba from 1992-94, and he was chosen as Manitoba Youth Athlete of the Year in 1992. In 1994 he was named to the Team Canada roster, and was awarded the Parkland Athlete of the Year award. Boguski went on to play college baseball for Minot State University in North Dakota. After college, he returned to Manitoba and played 23 seasons in the Manitoba Senior Baseball League (MSBL) with the Brandon Marlins, while occasionally being picked up by the Reston Rockets. In the 1996 season, he was MSBL Senior AA Player of the Year. Over the course of his lengthy baseball career, Boguski attended six national championships and was named an MSBL all-star on nine occasions. Following induction into the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame, he continued to be active in the baseball community through coaching.
