Ken Blight was born in Oakville, Manitoba on December 14, 1933. Blight was a left handed pitcher for 17 years who played in a variety of leagues and tournaments. He played three years with Oakville in a junior league during the late 40s and early 50s, and he also played tournament ball extensively, once with Neepawa, pitching for a 3-2 win against the Winnipeg Buffaloes.
