Garth (Smokey) Seafoot

Garth Seafoot was born in Carroll, Manitoba on April 26, 1936. Seafoot was involved with the Riverside Canucks as a player or manager for 41 years (1950-91). He played shortstop, pitcher, and outfielder. Seafoot led Riverside to seven Manitoba Senior Baseball League (MSBL) championships, and five Manitoba Baseball Association (MBA) crowns. He was an MSBL all-star 17 times, led Team Manitoba five times (once as coach, and four times as manager), and he won two Western Canada Championships. Seafoot also managed the host MSBL all-stars in the 1977 Canada Championships.
