Cliff Seafoot

Cliff Seafoot was born in Riverside, Manitoba. Seafoot was an outstanding catcher in his prime, and is later years he played third base, first base, and acted as the designated hitter. Most of his career was spent with the Riverside Canucks, and he was named to the Manitoba Senior Baseball League (MSBL) first all-star team 14 times. Seafoot played on six MSBL championship teams and five Manitoba championship teams. He was MSBL MVP in 1964 and 1970, and he won the league Batting Crown 1972 with a .394 average. Seafoot’s batting average over 25 years in baseball was .314. He was also a very good goalie with the Souris Elks in hockey. No matter which sport Seafoot played, he was always considered a great team player.
