STORY

The Riverside Park was originally at the junction of Highway 10 and the Souris River. This was the home of the Riverside Canucks, a great tournament team for over 50 years (1946-1996). The four Seafoot brothers; Ken, Morris, Garth, and Cliff, were a major part of this team for many of its golden years. From 1973-1978, Riverside won Manitoba Senior Baseball League and Manitoba Baseball Association titles in 1973, 1974, and 1978. From 1946-1984, Riverside teams won 926 of 1480 games with 17 ties.
