STORY
The Morden Mohawks entered the Border League in 1970. The league consisted of teams from Pilot Mound, Crystal City , Clearwater, Mather, Cartwright, Snowflake, Manitou, Kaleida, and Winkler.
The team found its stride under Doug Hamm, Darrell McElroy, and Joe Wiwchar around 1987. From 1987-1992, they were league champions 5 out of 6 seasons, and finalists in 1989. The team went on to represent the Border League in Provincials after each of these championships.
