STORY

The Fort Whyte Tournament Team from 1954-1960 consisted of players from the Winnipeg Senior Baseball League, some of the best Winnipeg Junior League players, and occasionally players from rural Manitoba. They competed in tournaments from western Manitoba to eastern Ontario. The team played in an average of 16 to 18 open and invitational tournaments every year, and over the course of this six-year stint they played many top-notch teams. Despite this, they never lost more than two tournaments in any year.
