Jack Hrehirchuk

Jack Hrehirchuk was was born in Dauphin, Manitoba. Hrehirchuk played senior baseball for six years with Grandview, Gilbert Plains, and Dauphin. While playing with Dauphin, he once pitched a no-hitter against Erickson. Hrehirchuk was further involved with the Dauphin team as a coach and umpire. He was an executive of the Dauphin Minor Baseball League, including a term as president during his 30 year commitment. Hrehirchuk was also an executive of the Dauphin Redbirds for ten years and he umpired in the Manitoba Senior Baseball League (MSBL) for ten years. A four year stint as treasurer of the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame and another few as a director are a couple more of his achievements. Hrehirchuk has played a major role in Dauphin as a coach, administrator, and hockey referee, and he has previously been inducted into the Manitoba Baseball Honour Society.
