Robert Hunter played with Strathclair, Orioles Community Club (1955), Transcona Atomics, Transcona Blues, Ste. Agathe Bisons, and Team Canada (1967). Robert was the Orioles MVP for seven consecutive years, pitched two consecutive no hitters in Jr., Orioles were perennial City Champs from 1955-64, and won five of seven provincial senior crowns. Hunter also played with Team Manitoba in two Canada Summer Games. The highlight of Bob`s career was with Team Canada as a relief pitcher in a 10-9 victory over Cuba, its first loss in twelve years, at Pan Am Games (1967). Bob later coached Lord Roberts Community Club (city champs), and the Crescentwood Community Club.
