Andy Alexiuk was involved in baseball for 40 years as a player, coach, and administrator. Alexiuk started in Sundown – Vassar district, was later associated with Erickson, Balmoral, CUAC Blues, South End Sioux, St. Boniface Mallards, Vita, St. Boniface Native Sons, and the Transcona Buccaneers. Andy was the prime organizer of the Redboine League and coached the Western Canada gold medallists in 1978 at Nanaimo.
