Lyleton dominated the Southwest Baseball League and western Manitoba tournament play for half a dozen years. The team was so successful, that it was able to run an annual Domination Day Tournament, which flourished for many decades. Lyleton featured five Murray brothers who were a big driving force for the team. Two other key players were Ted Waiser and Cecil Murray.
